NORTH BAY EXPANDED LEARNING

Our BACR program works to deliver expanded learning services to over 1,200 students a day in the school year and over half of that amount of students in the summer programs at 6 school sites in San Rafael. These programs are rooted in equity, promote academic access, and are always implemented with a social-emotional focus. We are fully integrated into the school community and coordinate continually with the administration and site-based family resource centers to ensure that our shared vision is being realized. During most school breaks, BACR offers summer camp style programs for 4 to 14 years old serving up to 650 students per day in the summer months.

LEAP / BACR is proud to serve all the students we can in our communities. With that, we like to keep our programs safe! Behavior and how students act in class can affect their placement LEAP if giving multiple chances, warnings and put on our LEAP Contract if behavior is not improved.

Physical contact with other students is not acceptable in LEAP, and there will be consequences for any student who engages in such behavior.

As Coordinators, we will communicate information about your student if they are experiencing trouble in class, with other students, or if we believe there is something else you should be aware of.

Para LEAP / BACR es un orgullo atender a tantos estudiantes de nuestras comunidades como sea posible. Por ello, nos esforzamos por mantener la seguridad en nuestros programas. El comportamiento y la actitud de los estudiantes en clase pueden influir en su permanencia en LEAP; si bien se ofrecen múltiples oportunidades y advertencias, la falta de mejora en la conducta puede llevar a la aplicación de nuestro contrato de comportamiento de LEAP.

El contacto físico con otros estudiantes no está permitido en LEAP, y cualquier alumno que incurra en este tipo de conducta enfrentará consecuencias.

Como coordinadores, nos pondremos en contacto con usted para informarle si su hijo presenta dificultades en clase o con otros compañeros, o si consideramos que hay algún otro asunto del que deba estar al tanto.
