Send a Thank You note
After you transcribe the interview and within a week or two after your interview, it is important to send a thank you letter to your interviewee.
This should be a handwritten note, which is sent via USPS mail. Please send the letter in a timely manner (within two days of the interview) and provide a copy of the letter in the report.
Thank them specifically for their time, for sharing their story, and for participating.
Use an example of something that was learned from the interview and why you appreciate them sharing their story and perspective
