A Note on Lockers
Each year students must sign up for their locker. Lockers are assigned, one per two students (Locker Buddy System) since we do not have enough lockers to issue one locker to each student. If you had a locker last year you can keep the same locker buddy but you will need to go through the sign up to receive a locker this year. You can also signup with a new locker buddy. Locker sign-ups begin at Orientation and student can continue to sign-up for lockers as available once school begins. Email Student Advisor Zach Ross if you have any questions about lockers. Starting tomorrow August 3, 2019 the Illuminate Portal will be open for families to log in and update emergency contact information. All families need to update their information in our system by the first day of school, Wednesday, August 14. Schedules will be available for view on Tuesday, August 6. Please remember that the schedule is subject to change between August 6 and August 30. A hardcopy of student’s schedule can be requested in person from the Main Office and a hard copy of the class schedule will be given to each incoming 9th graders on the second day of Orientation.
Preparing for the next school year can be done online via the links on this website, https://sites.google.com/srcs.k12.ca.us/info-santa-rosa-high for students in grades 10-12. Only students in grades 10-12 who need assistance to access their schedule via the Illuminate Online Student Portal, correcting schedule errors, want to get a locker with a partner or need to submit student health and medical information to the Health Office or bring in medication or medical supplies need to come in on the dates and times listed below for their grade level. Review the "Do I need to attend Orientation?" page for more information on deciding if you need to attend Orientation. School pictures will be taken in English classes this year during the first week of school for all students grades 10-12.

Incoming 9th graders
The class of 2023 are expected to attend all events on August 7 and 8 to help prepare for a successful beginning on the first day of school.
August 7th:
- New students dropped off at the South Gym at 8:30 and picked up at 1 PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Free school supplies will be available to any students in Room 144 in the Main Building at 1:15.
August 8th:
- New students will arrive at 9 AM in the South Gym and will be escorted to get their picture taken and taken on a campus tour with their link leaders.
- A Community Fair will be happening in the main quad starting at 9:30. Free coffee and hot chocolate courtesy of a local coffee company. You can discover many of the programs and teams that Santa Rosa has to offer!
- New students and families can:
- Fix mistakes on their schedules with their counselors starting at 12:30
- Get a locker with a friend (Every student who wants a locker needs to have a locker partner. Orientation is a great time to find a locker partner!)
- Submit any health documents or medications to the Health Office

Student Schedules for 2019-2020 School Year
During the first week in August, student schedules will be available via the parent portal on Illuminate Ed. We will not be printing and distributing schedules. Chromebooks will be available in the main building on our Orientation days, as well as the first day of school, for anyone who could not access it online. If there is an error on a schedule or a class needs to be removed because it was made up during summer school or through another accredited institution, please come to the counseling office during the following times. No teacher changes or elective changes to schedules will be made; the only changes to schedules will be if there is an error on the schedule. If you would like to drop a required class, you will need proof of registration at another institution, such as SRJC.

Horarios de Clases
Durante la primera semana de agosto, los horarios de clases estarán disponibles por el portal de padres en Illuminate Ed. No estaremos imprimiendo o distribuyendo los horarios de clases. Chromebooks estarán disponibles en el edificio principal durante esos días, y durante los primeros días de clases, para cualquiera que necesite acceso a su horario. En caso de que haya un error en el horario o si necesita quitar una clase por la razón de que tomaron clases durante el verano, por favor vengan a la oficina de consejería durante las horas siguientes. No haremos cambios de maestros.
