Read the attached directions for how to create a Science One-Pager. Use the attached textbook to complete the One-Pager. Blank white paper will be provided. Students will be reviewing Chapter 2, Lesson 2, textbook pages 98 to 107. There are six (6) vocabulary words to define and three reading checks to complete for this assignment. You will need to use the definitions from the textbook and the review word prokaryotic cell IS one of the vocab words.

Tuesday

Read the attached article about "Mars: The New Frontier". Answer the six Comprehension questions that are at the end of the article on a sheet of Notebook paper. YOU MUST ANSWER BY RESTATING THE QUESTION! (Ex: The first astronaut to spend a year in space was...) . When finished, please turn in the answers to Mr. Bradwell. Then grab a blank sheet of white copy paper and complete the Mini-Project: DIY Environment and design a habitat that would "fit the living conditions on Mars" . BE CREATIVE and you may have to do additional research!!

Continue to work on the Mini-Project for Mars: The New Frontier. Complete your habitat drawing and turn it in to Mr. Bradwell. If you have additional time remaining, take a look at the following NewsELA link to learn more about cells.

Please take the NewsELA quiz on the "Cells" article you read yesterday. You will finish taking the Cell Theory Notes in class today with Mr. Bradwell. If you have remaining time, make Mrs. Alvarado a "Welcome to Middle School" card! You can do it individually or as a class. Class choice! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
