I have been teaching at St. Pius through Northeastern Music Programs since 2009, after graduating from West Chester University with a BM in Music Education. I studied as a vocal major with a music history minor, but I was always very passionate about band and all forms of music education! I marched in the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band for four years, marched one season with the Reading Buccaneers, toured with the WCU Concert Choir, and I continue to lead my church choir.
Outside of school, I am an avid reader, Halloween enthusiast, and enjoy participating in community theatre. My current quest is to travel to all 50 states before I turn 50! (I've made it to 48 so far.)
I truly believe that music should be for everyone, and I will always do my best to help students find their place to shine. My classroom is a place of acceptance, tolerance, and lots of patience! Whether it’s in the general music classroom, concert band, or choir setting, nothing brings me more joy than a students’ success!
