How to reach

Sardar Patel University is a in the lush green village Vallabh Vidyanagar, established for the Education only. The name Vallabh signifies the Iron man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Vidya signifies the Education giving the liberation. Vallabh Vidyanagar, as known as VV Nagar is a suburb of the Milk City Anand, well connected by roads, rail and air to all the other parts of India. The pleasant countryside environment marking the presence of about 40 species of birds and equally matched with all the amenities of a city is a unique feature of the town.


The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, is around 80 kilometers from VV Nagar. Another domestic airport is Vadodara is about 50 kilometers from VV Nagar. One can hire a cab or reach nearby railway station or bus station from the airport and travel by public transport services.


Anand railway station (6 km from the University) is on the main line Bombay-Ahmedabad (Mumbai-Ahmedabad) and there are direct trains between Anand and all major cities of India.
