The Homecoming Dance is this Saturday at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green St, Pasadena). We're excited for a fun evening with dancing, table games, photo booths, and a slider bar.

Here are some last minute reminders!

1. The dance starts at 7:00 pm. Follow signs to the dance. Last entry is at 8:30 pm. Please leave the premises promptly by 10:00 pm.

2. Parking at the venue is available for $18 at Hotel Dena (175 South Euclid Avenue, Pasadena).

3. Your physical school ID card is required for admission. Physical tickets are not required. If you have an Ooter guest, you must arrive and leave together.

4. The following are not allowed:

backpacks and bags except small clutches and clear bags
pens/pencils/markers
liquids and containers including perfume/cologne, mint/candy containers, and water bottles
outside food and drinks, including gum

5. Coat check service will be available. However, shoes will not be accepted, so please wear comfortable shoes.

6. Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

Emergency Preparedness Club is looking for student volunteers to run stations at South Pasadena Fire Department’s Emergency Preparedness Community Fair on Saturday October 17th. All SPHS students who are looking to earn community service hours are eligible to sign up!

SkillsUSA Holiday Card Drive

Come support our troops by making holiday cards and writing letters. Your creations will be sent to active duty members of the 101 Airborne division as part of a holiday gift bag. Card making stations will be set up in front of the Counseling Center and on the Tiger patio.

Please present your 2026-2027 Student Activity Card (SAC) at the gate for complimentary

entry to the games.

No Drop Off of Items

Please remember to send your student to school with everything they need. The front office does not accept drop-offs of ANY items; this includes food, clothing, sports equipment, homework etc.

The library MakerSpace is open! Stop by before school, brunch, lunch, or after school. We have crafts, games, & puzzles. Each month there will be a featured craft and of course we always have our card making, junk journals, perler beads, bookmarks and more. If you have any questions, see Ms. Luna in the library.

Counselors are now meeting with seniors who need a letter of recommendation. Please make sure to sign up before the October 30th deadline. Students can check the Class of 27 Google Classroom for more information.
