Quiz Retakes

Quiz retake policy

• Students can retake a maximum of 2 quizzes per quarter.

• If you do better on the retake, I will average your old and new scores together.

• If you do worse on the retake, I will keep your original score.

Steps to retake a quiz

• Step 1: Complete a Quiz Retake Form. This requires you to describe all the missed problems on the quiz and correctly redo the work. Correct problems have nothing written next to them. Incorrect problems have a +0.5, +1, +1.5, +2, etc next to them.

• Step 2: Get a parent/guardian to sign the Quiz Retake Form.

• Step 3: Turn in the Quiz Retake Form and your quiz to Mrs. Wong.

• Step 4: Mrs. Wong will look over the Quiz Retake Form to ensure you correctly identified and fixed all of your mistakes. Note, if you need to fix some things, Mrs. Wong will return the form to you and have you fix your work before retaking the quiz.

• Step 5: Get a homeroom pass from Mrs. Wong to retake another version of the quiz. I highly suggest doing more practice problems from the Quiz Prep tab before retaking your quiz.
