The office ensures the effective and efficient delivery of academic programs for the students through the offering of relevant curricula, quality instruction and learner-centered experience.The office of the vice president for academic services (OVPAcS) is the umbrella of everything academics at St. Paul University - Surigao (SPUS). It assists the president Sr. Marie Rosanne Mallillin, SPC in the sustainable delivery of quality Christ-centered programs and services to the students and the rest of the equally-valued stakeholders.
The Vice President for Academic Services reports directly to the President and is responsible for carrying out the University's educational policies and programs, as well as promoting and monitoring instruction and other academic activities. It also oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of instruction, programs, and activities to ensure that students receive the best possible training and education.
The office is currently managed and led by the Vice President for Academic Services Dr. Melvin Ninal together with the office secretary Ms. Mary Jane Gipala and ably assisted by the SPUS Academic Council which comprises of college deans, the university registrar, the director for libraries and the heads of laboratories.
