How to put a book on hold

See a book you want but it is checked out? Found a title you really want but you can't come to get it right now? Place a hold! Ms. Moyers will e-mail you, your English Teacher and your Homeroom Teacher when it is pulled and ready for you!

How can I use the library?


  • The library is open from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Students come to the library any time as long as they have a pass from their teacher

  • Students search for books using our Destiny online catalog.

  • Students can ask to come to the library to quietly work on their own

Check Out Policies and Procedures


  • Students may check out up to two books at a time

  • Students may check out books for up to two weeks

  • To renew a book, contact the Librarian, Ms. Moyers, via e-mail or bring your book to the library to renew

  • Use the library book drop to return ALL books

  • Students with overdue books cannot check out

  • Replacement costs will be charged for lost or damaged books. Otherwise, there are no late fees.


What if I lose/damage a book?

  • If a student loses or damages a book outside of normal use, the book can be paid for, replaced with a like copy or in special circumstances worked off through jobs in the Media Center.

  • Accidents can happen! Log into Destiny (with your school Google Account) to see if a lost book has been returned or contact Ms. Moyers to see if she can fix the problem.
