My formal name is Elizabeth, but most people call me BJ. This stands for Betty Jo. I have enjoyed being a classroom teacher for the South Portland School Department since September of 1985. I have taught in all grades from kindergarten through grade four, but most of my time has been spent teaching first and second graders. I love teaching all the subjects and especially enjoy reading stories aloud and singing songs with my class. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to go skiing and spend as much time as we can at our camp on Little Sebago Lake. I live in Falmouth with my husband, Tim, and dog, Shawnee. I have two sons, Ryan and Kyle, and two beautiful daughters-in-law. I also have four wonderful grandchildren (and one on the way) who fill my heart with so much joy !
