Mr. Koranteng is South Portland High School’s newest JMG teacher. Students knew him before he was their JMG teacher because he was an Ed Tech in our school. We met in his new classroom, which features student playlists that he made, posters of snowboarders and skiers and a Winter Break countdown. Through our interview, I learned that Mr. K lived in New York and that he has a passion for pop culture.

Getting to know students. Seeing what students want for their futures.
Outside school, what hobbies or passions do you have?
