Honors Geometry
About Honors Geometry
We will be studying concepts of 2D, coordinate and solid geometry as well as trigonometry through a lens of mathematical explanations. Mathematical proof and logic will be foundational, and we will practice justifying our statements and conclusions with supporting definitions and theorems throughout the year.
About HOW & ELTs
By the end of 8th grade, we want ALL students to ADVOCATE for themselves, to PROBLEM SOLVE and be INDEPENDENT workers.Students should be prepared daily for both in-person and remote sessions with a charged iPad and completed work from the previous day. All in class and remote work will be reviewed and used as formative and summative assessments for the learning targets and be reported in the Habits of Work grade.

Work should be made up as soon as possible after a missed class or assignment. Make up work is the responsibility of the student. It is the student's responsibility to see teachers OR email and check GoogleClassroom.
Students are expected to attend all in-person and remote classes.
Students are expected to adhere to our community agreement in our class interactions.
Be prepared:
Please have your iPad charged and ready to go each day!
Please bring your full water bottle and book with you each day.
Check GoogleClassroom regularly to make sure you have completed all assignments on time.
