ABOUT Mrs. Lucier, Mrs. O & Mrs. Cloutier

I'm Mrs. Lucier. I live in South Portland with my husband and two kids. Olivia is a kindergartener at Dyer this year! My son, Colin, is two years old! Here are a few of my favorite things:

  • Place to be: Beach (specifically Pine Point)

  • Type of music: Country

  • Snack: Popcorn

  • Color: Blue

  • Season: Fall

  • Sports: Swimming & Gymnastics

Fun Facts: #1 I studied abroad in Ireland for 6 months in college, #2 I come from a huge family: my dad has 12 siblings, so I have lots and lots of cousins, #3 We don't have any pets because Mr. Lucier is allergic to most, but if we could have one I'd want a cat. #4 I am left handed, #5 I have one older brother who lives in Chicago.

Hi, I am Mrs Cloutier. Some of you might know that I recently retired from classroom teaching and that last year, I worked in the Library. This year I have a brand new and exciting job working in the Resource Room.

I love teaching all subject areas, but I am especially interested in teaching mathematics using manipulatives and math thinking strategies.

I live with my husband, Mark on the Spurwink Marsh in Cape Elizabeth. Our house is a bit empty now, but not too long ago, it was filled with three busy children; Catherine, Zachary, and Andrew.

In my spare time, I like to travel, ride my bike, take walks, cook and bake, read, do projects around my house, and spend time having adventures with my husband, my children, and now, my little grandson, Luca.

This is a picture of me and my husband, Mark on the dock at Little Cranberry Island.

Mrs. Ortengren (Mrs. O.)

Hello! I'm Jamie Ortengren, known as "Mrs. O". I live in Cape Elizabeth with my husband, whose name is also Jamie, and our standard schnauzer, Max. We have two children Kimberly 33 and Christopher 31. Both of our children were married two years ago. Weddings were two weeks apart!!!! Our family loves the outdoors. Our winters are spent at Sugarloaf almost every weekend and school holidays! Skiing is one of my passions along with cooking, gardening and riding horses (although have not been able to do it a lot in recent years). I am starting my 16th year at Small which is hard to believe......how time flies!!!
