HOmebase

Homebase is a place for students to

• relax,

• talk with peers in our homebase,

• talk to an adult that (hopefully) has known them since they started high school,

• get information about things happening at school,

• get things from the administration, give things to administration.

We meet everyday at the beginning of the school day.

I'm supposed to talk about class expectations and grading here.

• Well, there are no grades.

• I would like you to come to homebase everyday on time. My expectation is that you WILL come to homebase everyday on time.

• I would like you to chat with your fellow homebasers and me. I expect you will spend some time on your cellphones.

• I would like you to listen to my crazy discussions about (interesting but seemingly random) topics. I expect that you will look like you're ignoring me, but will be secretly storing my words away in the back of your minds to explore when the time is right. For your future edification, I may post things to this webpage in the Resources drop-down.

• I would like you to follow all Covid19 safety measures. I expect you to follow all Covid19 safety measures.
