About me
People often ask me why I am a teacher, how I can 'put up' with students all day, wouldn't I rather do something else? I truly love this job. Students are the very best part of my work; you make me laugh every day, you challenge me, you break my heart and you fill it all the time. I'm definitely passionate about science, cellular physiology in particular, and I hope that shows every day.
Outside of school I'm a mother to 2 energetic boys; I love to ride bikes and play in/on all states of water and hike and garden and cook with friends and family; and some of my favorite smells are pine trees, bacon, petrichor and the ocean.

during blocks when I don't teach (by appointment only!): Red 1, Red 4, & White 3, but I do have department meetings, duties and workshop during those times as well!
