I am one of the clinical social workers at South Portland High School. My role is to serve the general population of students who do not have an individual education plan or are not otherwise connected to a school social worker. I do my best to assist students in their social and emotional learning as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and high school.
Students can initiate a meeting with me via email or texting my school cell phone.
My other role in the high school is co-facilitating the SoPo Unite student group . You can learn more about this amazing youth substance prevention group here. Anyone is welcome to join anytime, just reach out to me or our SoPo Unite director, Lee Anne Dodge.
When I'm not working with students, I am caring for my own two teenagers and spending as much time outside as possible. I love to garden, run, paddleboard, walk my adorable labradoodle Ollie and do yoga. I received my trauma informed yoga teaching certificate in June, 2020.
