The reason why cats lick themselves is because their tongues have very small hook-like things on them. The hair get caught on their tongue and that's why they cough up hairballs. Cats have sharp claws which make them very good climbers. Cats can get information from their whiskers. Their whiskers tell them if they can get through or go in tight spaces, so you should never cut them. Kittens can do stuff with their body to so how they feel. But adult cats meow to show how they feel.
