Hello Small Elementary families. My name is Chad Morin and I will be the new school nurse here at your elementary school. I am a Mainer born and raised. I left Maine to attain a 4 year degree in nursing at Elmira College in New York. For the past fifteen years I have been a practicing Registered Nurse in the hospital setting. At Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore I was employed in the Cardiac Care Unit and the Pediatric Emergency Department. My family and I moved back to Maine in 2007. While back in Maine I worked for Central Maine Medical Center, Lifeflight of Maine as a Flight Nurse, and then Maine Medical Center Emergency Department. I have a special place in my heart for the pediatric population and I am extremely excited to promote health and wellness to my South Portland community and their children.
