Mahoney From Home - 2020

March, 2020

Well, we weren't expecting this! While we are all at our homes teaching and learning away from Mahoney, we will have to do things a bit differently. We're still going forward. :)

#Our assignments will continue to be in Google Classroom. Please check there each morning for an activity. We will do a short daily activity instead of trying to do longer activities on odd or even days as we would in the normal schedule.

#Do your best to complete each activity. Sometimes you just have to do what you think is right even if you aren't sure. That's ok. We are all learning, which means not always knowing things right away. Your effort is the most important thing here.

#My office hours are 9:00 - 10:00 AM and 2:00-3:00 PM Monday-Friday. That means I'll be available to talk using the Meet app on your iPad. Check Classroom for the code to join the Meet.

#Email me at koelkest@spsdme.org any time for support. If I'm super busy I may not answer until the next day, but I'm going to try to answer email as soon as possible.

#You are all very good students! I know you. Believe in yourself, do your best, and look for ways you can help someone else. Stay in touch with your friends - email works. If I can't answer right away a friend might just know what you need.

#Remember Mahoney's motto: Kindness and Respect for everyone.

Here's Mahoney a long time ago, when part of the building was still being built. It's our great old home.

It's the 21st century. We can do this!

Need to take a few deep breaths just to relax and change the pace a little? Here's a breathe bubble to help.
