Hi folks! I hope that everyone enjoyed their summer break and rested up for the new school year. Given the situation we are in, we have to be flexible in how we begin our school year. We're looking forward to seeing you soon and we plan on navigating this together! On the Resource Support Class page, you will find various organizers to assist you with writing, work completion, and other helpful tidbits. On the Resources page, you will find general information about school and various links to connect you with the larger SPHS community. A little bit about us!!
Ms. DeRice: This will be my 6th year teaching in the South Portland school system and my 2nd year at the high school as an instructional support teacher. I will also be co-teaching a Math II class this year. And, what's that? You want to know one fun fact about me? Sure!! I think that kale and coffee are the greatest things but not when had together.
Mr.Stanton: This will be year 15 for me at SPHS as an Ed. Tech and I still enjoy teaching and working with kids every day. I love music, guitars, anything martial arts related and cooking.
Mr. Russell: This is my 3rd year as an Ed. Tech at South Portland High. A little about me.. I am a SoPo alumni, I love basketball, The Office and all things food. Looking forward to another great year!
