My house is close to school. I live in Cape Elizabeth with my husband, Dean. We have two terrific daughters, Maggie and Emma. They live close by in Portland.

I enjoy hiking, walking, reading, traveling, being with friends and family, exploring and teaching. This summer I've also done lots of gardening. We grew zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, basil, purple peppers, and kale. This photo is of me while canoeing a section of the Allagash River this summer.
In 1985, I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UMF. Several years later, I attended Keene State College in Keene, NH to become a teacher.
In 2019, I graduated from UNE with my master's degree in Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction.
