About Me

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Charlotte Emery, and I am an Occupational Therapist currently practicing at South Portland Schools. In 1992, I earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy at the University of New England and began my career at Maine Medical Center in acute care, acute rehab, and pediatrics. After the birth of my second child, the lure of working with children drew me to seek a career in pediatrics full time. This lead me to work for four years at a local center for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Through the years, I have also provided services for Child Development Services and have a special interest in treatment of developmental disorders and Sensory Integration. Currently I work with student populations from Kindergarten to twelfth grade. I reside in Windham with my family and enjoy playing music and outdoor adventures such as camping, canoeing and hiking.
