Auditions

• There is a mandatory parent meeting on Monday, December 8th at 6 pm in the Elementary STEAM room. If a student plans to audition, one parent or guardian must be at the meeting. If they are unable to attend, a parent must contact Mrs. Wilbur (swilbur@spscarlisle.org)  or Mrs. Kirk (skirk@spscarlisle.org)  BEFORE auditions in order to get the information that will be handed out at that meeting.

• Auditions will be held December 9th and 10th in the music room from 5-6:30pm. Each actor should sign up for ONE audition day and be available for the entire time. Audition sign-ups are posted In each grade's Google Classroom page. 

                *THERE WILL BE NO PAPER AUDITION FORMS THIS YEAR*

• Students can be picked up outside the Innovation Center at the end of auditions (6:30 pm). Please meet your student outside.

• The cast list will be posted on the St. Patrick Players website on the afternoon of Friday, December 12th, after 3 pm. 

• Everyone who auditions will be cast In the show! 

• All parent forms/orders/Drama Club fees should be sent In with each actor for the Whole Cast Read Through on December 16th 2:30-5pm. This read through Is MANDATORY and cannot be missed. This Is when all actors will get their personal script and we will go through the entire play together for the first time. 

***During auditions, actors will take turns reading scenes. Each will read for multiple roles and be paired/grouped with various other actors. 

Students should choose two of the following songs to prepare for auditions. 

1. "Let It Go"

2. "In Summer"

3. "Love Is an Open Door"
