Dress Code

Dress Code:

There is no official school uniform for our Clover students.  We kindly ask that our students wear sneakers and wear comfortable clothing because we are very active throughout the day.  Wearing sneakers is essential to your child’s safety.  Due to distractions and safety issues, we also request that students do not wear light up sneakers or noise-making shoes (squeakers).  If your child is wearing a dress, please pair with shorts to protect her privacy.  Comfortable kids learn best!  

If your child prefers to wear sweaters or sweatshirts overtop of lighter clothing; that is fine, but we ask that every article of clothing is labeled with the child's first and last names.  This is especially important to prevent clothing items from ending up in our school lost and found.

Spare Clothing:

Kindly send in an extra set of clothes (pants, shirt, underwear, and socks) for your child in a large, labeled, ziplock bag.  These will be returned to you once no longer needed, and will be changed out seasonally during our parent-teacher conferences at the end of October.  These will only be used in the event of a toileting accident and if used, we will notify the parents as soon as possible on the day of the accident.

Dress for the Weather:

We will enjoy recess outside even when the weather gets cold.  Please ensure your child has a jacket or coat with them during morning drop off and a hat and gloves when needed.
