I know without a doubt that I was put on this earth to be a mother and a teacher and there is absolutely nothing else I’d rather do with my life Teaching isn’t a job to me, it is part of who I am and what defines me and there is nothing else I’d rather do with my life. I use Marvel characters aligned to the Great Expectations Life Principles to teach character education!

Hey y'all! I'm Lacey J. Davis and I have taught 16 years at Seminole! I have taught 14 years in 1st Grade, one year as the Early Childhood Virtual Teacher, and one year as the PreK-5th Grade Virtual Teacher for Seminole Public Schools. I am currently the PreK-6th Grade Virtual Teacher and 7th-12th Grade Virtual Facilitator. When your passion and purpose truly align, that is a true blessing! I am passionate about building strong relationships with not only my students, but also with their families. I LOVE teaching and know without a doubt that I was put on this earth to be a Mommy and a teacher! And being able to do both and make a difference even from a distance, now that is something!!

I graduated from East Central University with high academic honors & as a top ten senior with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
I have a master's degree in Library Media Science Technology from East Central University.
I am a certified DIBELS/Acadience Mentor as well as certified in LETRS.
Trained in 95% Group, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, Project Read, and Great Expectations.
Collaborator in "Thank You Teacher: 100 Uplifting and Affirming Letters from Your Fellow Educator" by Brad Johnson and Hal Bowman.
