The Sprout attendance policy applies to all workers, regardless of rank or status.
Certain standards of performance and conduct must be maintained. Disciplinary action can/will be taken in situations including, but not restricted to misconduct such as the following: Any case in which an employee fails to meet expectations, violates policies or procedures, tardiness/absenteeism, distribution, firearms/weapons, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, is party to general misconduct, obscenity, vulgarity, harassments, insubordination, theft or dishonesty, or any activity that is deemed to be unacceptable behavior.
Some of the additional scenarios where disciplinary actions will be taken include:
Employee has been counseled to improve behavior/performance, counseling's doesn't bring better results within allotted time frame.
Employee purposefully overlooks attendance duties, neglects proper procedures.
Employee continuously disregards warnings and displays insubordination.
Employee repeatable gives late notice and has a track record of punctuality issues.
Progressive Disciplinary Action - For the same type of incident/performance issue/occurrence/etc. the same disciplinary action sequence should be followed in advancing order. For separate types of incidents/performance issues/occurrences/etc. new disciplinary action sequences should be created. Disciplinary action includes but is not limited to the following:
