Here's an interesting drawing to try. Get a deck of cards - choose a King, Queen or Jack. BEFORE you start to draw, cover the bottom hlf of the card with another piece of paper. Draw what is ABOVE the paper line. When finished, take off paper, turn upside down and draw the other half. How did you do? Color it using only the colors that are printed on your cards.

Grade 5 students studied the artist Romero Britto. We used glue (black and white) to design our creation and then added watercolor paint to bring it to life! We also talked about POP artist, Andy Warhol. We created 3D ceramic objects based on Warhol creations.

In class we continued our awesome gourd art from 4th grade. They are coming out really cool! We also learned about the art of Romero Britto, a Braziallian artist who produces really colorful and fun pieces!
