During this amazing year, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with amazing professionals and discovering tons of great new ways to engage students in the learning. Please feel free to take some of these resources for yourself!
I found some of my most creative teaching hacks from Teachers on Tik Tok. Lots of teachers on the app give away free resources on their pages and share their best professional development in the span of a minute! I often used many free resources that saved me time and organize my data.
Quizizz Lessons are amazing! This new Lessons feature allow you to control whether or not to mirror the content displayed on the presenter's device onto student devices. When applied, this will ensure that all slides and questions appear on student devices at the same time. This is a great way to resent new content and check for understanding in a game play format.
Pixton allows teachers and students to construct their own comic strips. ... This is a great learner-centered tool that allows students to construct their own knowledge and display it in a way that is meaningful to them by allowing them to create comics representing their concepts and ideas. My students loved picking this as an option to show what they learned!
Google Arts & Culture (formerly Google Art Project) is an online platform of high-resolution images and videos of artworks and cultural artifacts from partner cultural organizations throughout the world. This site has tons of interactive tours and resources for your students to engage and explore!
