COMPREHENSIVE COUNSELING PROGRAM
Our Comprehensive School Counseling Program
Our elementary school counseling program supports the academic, social, emotional, and career development of every student. Through classroom lessons, small-group activities, individual counseling, and collaboration with parents and teachers, our school counselors help students build confidence, develop positive relationships, make responsible decisions, and overcome challenges. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive learning environment where every child can grow, succeed, and reach their full potential.
Together, we are helping every child succeed!

The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs is a framework developed to help Texas schools establish, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive, developmental school counseling program that supports the academic, career, personal, and social development of every student. The model includes four major components: Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Student Planning, and System Support. These components work together to address students’ needs, promote student achievement, encourage personal growth, and prepare students for future success. School counselors collaborate with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community partners to ensure the program meets the needs of the school community.
