The first three seconds are the key to engagement or disengagement. Try to capture the audience’s attention immediately and then continue to engage them for the remainder of the spot.
Who are you selling to? Are you selling to kids who go more for taste or adults who look for nutrition and energy? Are you selling to the intuitive consumer who spends spontaneously, or are you selling to the rational consumer who uses information about the brands and products to drive purchase decisions? As you can tell, each product has its own unique personality and naturally caters to a particular audience.
Tell a compelling story. In thirty seconds, you want to take your audience on a journey. Cause them to imagine what it would be like to take you up on their offer. Draw them in to your world. Leave them wanting more.
Think of something that is unconventional, yet memorable. A tagline can make it easy for people to remember what you do, especially if you add humor or some other way for the audience to connect with it. If you use a jingle, make it super catchy and only a few words to make it easy to remember.”
Once you've decided what you want to pitch to your audience, throw it out there and stick with it. The more concise you are, the more likely your audience is to easily understand you and connect with you.
BE YOURSELF!! There's no better version of you than YOU!!! Talk your talk. Walk your walk. You never know who will connect with you just because you come across an original- the real deal.
Make sure you use good diction. Speak clearly and enunciate so your audience can understand what you are saying.
