Mrs. Johnson graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. She is certified to teach secondary Music 6-12 through Region for ACP and The University of St. Thomas. This is her 20th year teaching Choir. Mrs. Johnson is also the Lead Facilitator for SISD PVA for all Middle Schools. Mrs. Johnson lives in Spring with her husband, Jerry and 2 BEAUTIFUL girls, Ava (10) and Zoey (7) and Sylvie and Hope, our puppy dogs. For fun, Mrs. Johnson loves to read, sing, do nails, do arts and crafts, and spend time with friends and family. Mrs. Johnson is also the sponsor of the TCMS Craft Club.
John-Alan Gourdine is the Assistant Choir Director at Twins Creeks Middle School. John-Alan received his master's degree in choral conducting from The Moores School of Music at the University of Houston and his bachelor's degree in Music Education from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia. Mr. Gourdine has taught since 2011 teaching piano classes, choral classes, showchoir, musical theatre, and gospel choir. He is a tenor in the Houston Symphony Chorus. His first international singing experience was when he was a middle schooler singing with the Atlanta Boy Choir in Great Britain. He owes most of his international travel to singing in choir. Mr. Gourdine's favorite styles of music are Gospel and Jazz. He enjoys spending his free time cooking, swimming, and with his family.
