I’m Zaccheaus Morgan (Coach Z), an educator, administrator, and cheer coach with over nine years of experience developing athletes from middle school to the collegiate level. I currently serve as Head Cheer Coach at Twin Creeks Middle School and also a 7th Grade Science Teacher and have also cheered at Alabama State University and Texas Southern University.
I hold a Master of Public Administration (Summa Cum Laude) from Texas Southern University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice (Cum Laude) from Alabama State University. My coaching philosophy focuses on building well-rounded athletes through skill development, safety, discipline, and academic accountability.
I am a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., I lead community service projects, youth mentorship programs, and athletic initiatives. My mission is to empower students and athletes to reach their full potential—on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
I am one of the 7th grade ELA teachers here at Twin Creeks Middle School. I have a total of 17 years in education. This is my third year teaching and I have been recently recognized by Texas Education Agency (TEA) as an Exemplary Educator. I am excited about this accomplishment and journey in education. In addition, I recently completed my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University. I am so elated to work with your brilliant scholars as we explore the wonderful world of literacy.
