The outdoor PLAZA can be for outdoor movie-night
Dislikes:
Don't need Black Box
Design Idea:
Curves seem to be an obvious theme or motive. Is there a Kintsugi pattern that becomes "replicable" in some of the design, similar to the curves here?
BROWNSVILLE ISD PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (proposed)

This is the sketch that gave me the very first idea of having the two "buildings" face each other and use the area in between as a visual art opportunity, as well as a flex space.
Dislikes:
I don't see an outside courtyard in the middle of EPIC
No Scene Shop needed
No classrooms needed (just flex spaces)

The art work above the audience is a very strong signature. An opportunity to tie all themes together
Dislikes:
Access to the stage is only through a box-seating route from the audience
Design Idea:
The choir loft can also serve as the teaching lab for rehearsals as well. Our younger teachers can watch a master teacher rehearse
THE KENNEDY CENTER
Design Idea:
Students/Teachers can observe the rehearsal or performance down below from the second floor exposed hallway.
The Reach at The Kennedy Center has an outdoor movie wall for patrons to come watch.
The Kennedy Center has a stage at the end of this long lobby that can easily accommodate a jazz ensemble during a mix-n-mingle
Design Idea:
Possible way to use the Arena for large convocation, graduation, and proscenium theatre events.
Lila Cockerel Theatre
Design Idea:
We need dual screens on the side
Here's an example of possible choir risers In the back of a proscenium theatre
The Metropolitan Opera
Design Idea:
The exterior of the building is a direct representation of the performance inside the building.
As EVERYONE walks up to the building, they "feels" like they belong and that the building belongs to them.
Beautiful courtyard for everyone to congregate and build community
An example of multiple buildings If we want to separate the Arena and the PAC.
We could also create an outdoor movie-theatre In the space between
