My name is Valerie Doud and I am the Library Media Specialist here at Spring Leadership Academy. My mission is to foster the joy of reading and create leaders through literacy.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Sam Houston State University and my Master of Library Science degree from Texas Woman’s University. I have served in the field of education since 2004. This will be my eighth year as a Librarian and my fourth year here at SLA.
