Virtual CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
CHAMPS is a classroom management approach that communicates behavior expectations during instructional time. CHAMPS goals are clearly posted in the classroom as a reminder of classroom expectations. As a result, off-task behaviors should be minimized, and comprehension of content will increase, making the classroom environment productive, helping every student succeed.

No Opt-Out Cold Calling
The goal of No Opt-Out is to get the student to answer. One way to get him to do so is to get the answer from another student (or supply it yourself) and have the first student repeat the answer. ... By Cold Calling on that student as well, you signal all students that there is the potential of them being called next.
