What we are learning?: Students will engage in activities to promote unity and self-expression. One of the first things we will practice is focusing on details and the expression of our experiences, while observing how other authors did the same. As we study the writing techniques used by such artists, we will practice creating literature from our own points-of-view, while improving our own reading and writing techniques. We will learn and engage in the use of proper grammar, essay-writing, and correct language skills. In addition, we will study poetry, its devices, and figurative language.
