Hello, my name is Veronica Persaud and this is my eleventh year at Burchett Elementary. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade levels and I really enjoy what I do! I have been married for twenty-five years and I have three children, all whom have attended Spring schools. I believe in the power of education and that All children can learn and grow and that I will play a major part in their success. I love my team and I am looking forward to a wonderful year in first grade!

Hello! My name is Mr. Norvis Boodram and I am the first grade bilingual teacher. I graduated from Texas Southern University (TSU) with a degree in bilingual education. I have been in the education field for 12 years and this will be my 6th year of teaching. I have two beautiful children and have been married of 11 wonderful years.

I strongly believe that teachers have a great impact in students' lives for that reason I create a positive, friendly, and loving learning environment for them.

Hi, my name is Mrs. Grace Preston-Jackson (Mrs. Jackson) and I have the pleasure of teaching your student through their adventure in 1^st grade. Just a little about myself. I have a wonderful husband of 10 years, and two awesome dogs named Rocky and Charlie. I graduated from UT Tyler with my bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies EC – 4 and Capella University with my Masters in Psychology. I am entering my 8th year of teaching and I am super excited to have the pleasure of teaching your young scholar this year!

Hello! My name is Tuyen Ho and I will be a first year, first grade teacher here at Burchett Elementary. At the age of 4 my family immigrated here from Vietnam. I grew up in southwest Houston area and graduated from the University of Houston. My eldest sister is also a teacher. I am so ecstatic to start this journey to help guide you all to be successful learners. I can’t wait to learn and grow with you!

Hello, My name is Shaina Gray. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Texas Southern University. Go Tigers! I have a certification in Core Subjects EC-6 and Physical Education EC-12. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade. I love teaching and taking part in helping my students grow and reach their goals! I am so excited to start this year at Burchett Elementary School and I am looking forward to a terrific year in first grade!

Hello, I am Mrs. Allen! I have been in the field of education since 2016 and this will be my 1st year teaching in a formal classroom setting. I graduated from Sam Houston in 2019 with my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I recently got married in January of 2020. I recently moved from Pre-K to 1st grade, but at either area I am so excited to helping these scholars grow! My husband and I live in the Spring area and both work for Spring ISD. I am so excited to be joining the Bobcat family this year and cannot wait to see what is in store!
