Howdy My name is Ms.Tejada and I am so excited to have your child in my third grade bilingual class. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University (whoop) with a degree in Bilingual Education. I was born in Kingston New York, but raised in Houston, Texas. During my free time I love to read, watch movies, walk my dog named Bandit. Also, I'm a big fan of Aggie football (Gig'Em Aggies) and any Houston team! More importantly I am so excited to be teaching at Beneke Elementary and I look forward to working with your child.

My goal for the school year( whether online or virtually) is for each of my students to become problems solvers and deep thinkers. In order to meet this goal, we will have year filled with lots of learning and high expectations.

Hola me llamo Ms.Tejada y estoy muy emocionada de tener su hijo(a) en my clase bilingüe de tercer grade. Me gradué de la universidad de Texas A&M University con un título en educación bilingüe. Nací en Kingston, Nueva York, pero me crié en la gran cuidad de Houston, Texas. Durante mi tiempo libre me encanta leer, ver películas y caminar a mi perro llamado Bandido. También, soy una fanática del equipo de fútbol americano de Texas A&M y de todos los equipos de Houston. Estoy muy entusiasmada de enseñar en Beneke y trabajar con su hijo(a).

Mi meta para este año escolar (ya sea en el aula o en clase virtuales) es que cada uno de mis estudiantes se conviertan en personas que pueden solucionar problemas y pensar profundamente. Para poder lograr esta meta vamos a tener un año lleno de mucho aprendizaje y expectativas altas.
