AMPLIFY
Amplify is our selected curriculum. It is an online curriculum aligned with the Texas Essential Knoweldge and Skills (TEKS). Your student will have access to the curriculum on Chromebook's provided in the classroom. These laptops will remain in class throughout the school year. Your scholar can access homework in Amplify at home using their own device. If your student does not have a device access at home, a paper copy can be provided.
Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills
Texas schools teach based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS). We also call these skills standards. As your students work through the school year, they will improve their language ability by using strategies to help them increase these skills. You can read these skills here.
