Daily Folder

This folder is sent home every day and returned the next morning. Our Reynolds Elementary agenda will be located in this folder, and it will need to be signed daily. Other items that will go home in this folder are unfinished work, completed work, and school handouts.

Lunch

Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all Reynolds’ students this year. A la carte drinks and snacks will be available for an additional fee. Please be sure that all appropriate paperwork is filled out.

Personal Items

Please label each item that your child brings to school with his/her name (backpack, lunch kit, jackets/sweaters). School supplies do not need to be labeled. In case of accidents, please pack a change of uniform clothes in a zip lock bag.

Absences

Please notify the school by phone on the day of a student absence. If a phone call has not been received, a note is required from the parent the next day. If a call or note has not been received within 48 hours of an absence, the absence will be considered unexcused.

Transportation

Please clarify by note any changes about the way your child is transported to and from school. This is important information regarding the safety of your child. Please also make sure your child understands his or her mode of transportation each day.

Dress Code

All Reynolds students will follow the school dress code.

-Shirts:

· Collared, “polo”-style shirts

· Acceptable colors: Red, navy blue, white

-Bottoms:

· Khaki, blue, or denim blue jeans

· Students can wear long pants, shorts or skirts

· Please no black denim

-School spirit shirts may be worn on Fridays. (available for purchase through PTO – More information will be sent out about how to purchase a spirit shirt)
