2. Comprehension Questions to ask after reading- Parents, please ask your child a few comprehension questions from the list below after they have finished reading. This can be done verbally or the child can write their responses and draw pictures to illustrate their answers.
3. BrainpopJr- BrainpopJr, is a great online resource full of videos that thoroughly explains various subjects in a "kid friendly" manner. We use this website daily in class. They can even take a quiz after they are finish with the video.
4. Scholastic Classroom- Scholastic is rolling out daily lessons that contains a story and follow up activities.
5. Starfall- Starfall has many reading and math resources. Most students are familiar with this website.
6. Prodigy- Prodigy is a math game that allows students to enhance their math skills while playing against others. Please email jjacks4@springisd.org or message me on Class Dojo if your child does not know their prodigy password and username.
7. Virtual Field Trips- Here is a list of virtual field trips that the students can explore dealing with various subjects.
