Interesting Facts About Mrs. L. Hernandez

• I attended Wells Middle School and graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from Westfield High School.  I studied at Houston Community College, Lone Star North Harris College and graduated from University of Houston (Go Coogs!) 

• I have had the pleasure of  working with the Houston Independent School District for 11 years as a math teacher. 

• I love music! I have served in my church's choir since I was in the 6th grade.

•  I like to incorporate musical math songs or chants in my classroom - and I encourage all of my students to sing what they have learned in class at home. 

• I have a big family (1 amazing husband and 6 beautiful blessings)!
