Ask your CTE Counselors for assistance on your campus regarding your career pathways.
All 8th graders choose a career pathway based on a career interest discovered through interest inventories and research. It is a requirement to develop a four year plan/graduation plan based on that career interest. Students entering 9th grade will start coursework based on a pathway. Starting a pathway in the 9th grade gives students the best chance to complete an endorsement and be ready for an industry based certification. Industry based certifications allow you to graduate and pursue employment immediately after high school or work while in college to provide financial support. There are opportunities to receive multiple endorsements. Be sure to reach out to your counselors for more information.
