Congrats to our 2026 Huntsman Scholarship Receipients
The best place to start looking for scholarships is the college or university you plan to attend. Check their website for scholarships. Some will require you to apply separately, while others will automatically consider you when you apply for admission.
Next, look at the organizations connected to your life. Scholarships may be offered through a parent’s job, your church, community groups, clubs, sports teams, or other organizations you or your family are involved in.
There are also thousands of scholarships online. Keep in mind, you get out of it what you put into it. Applying takes time, effort, and patience, and there are no guarantees. That’s why many scholarships go unclaimed each year. Local Harris County scholarships usually open in late February and March, so be ready.
Each week, I will post a list of scholarships you can apply for on this page. It won’t include every opportunity, but it’s a great place to get started.
