COMPREHENSIVE COUNSELING PROGRAM
Welcome! The elementary school counseling program supports students in developing the skills they need to feel successful, confident, and connected at school.
The counseling program may provide:
Social-emotional learning — Building skills such as self-awareness, self-control, empathy, communication, and responsible decision-making.
Classroom lessons — Age-appropriate lessons on friendship, emotions, problem-solving, coping skills, kindness, and other important topics.
Individual support — Short-term individual counseling and check-ins to help students work through school-related concerns.
Small groups — Small-group activities focused on specific skills or needs, such as friendship, emotional regulation, confidence, or coping strategies.
Family and staff collaboration — Working together with families and school staff to support student success.
