Mrs. Quintana teaches the all competitive band classes as well as all beginner classes in the Bammel Band program. These classes include Varsity Band, Non-Varsity Band, Beginner instrument classes (Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, and Percussion).
Mrs. Quintana is starting her tenth-year teaching, with the 2025-26 school year being her eighth year at Bammel.
Mrs. Quintana is a first-generation Sam Houston State University graduate with a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Master's in Band Studies (Eat 'Em Up Kats)! She is also an alumnus of Bammel Middle School and Dekaney High School. During her time at Dekaney High School, Mrs. Quintana served as the drum major from 2009-2011 and performed with the Dekaney High School Wind Ensemble at their first ever Midwest performance in 2010. Beginning in 2011 she worked in Spring ISD as a Flute private lesson teacher, marching tech, and drum major clinician. Mrs. Quintana's teachers at Bammel and Dekaney were Diane Vasquez, Josh Mooney, Mark Calima, Trent Cooper, Josaphat Jaime, and Greg Rinehart. At SHSU Mrs. Quintana studied under Mrs. Kathy Daniel, Dr. Brian Gibbs, and Dr. Matthew McInturf.
Mrs. Quintana likes to read, watch movies, and play video games in her spare time.
She lives with her husband, their dogs Ribeye & Mesquite, cats Tippy Midnight Miles & Shadow, and turtle Zedd.
