We’re excited to share that starting this summer, all students entering grades 8-12 for the 2025 - 2026 school year will keep their Spring Grove-issued iPad over summer break!
Go to https://sgasd-sapphire.k12system.com/CommunityWebPortal/Welcome.cfm.
Enter your district Username and Password. If you are unsure of your username or password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.

Enter the Username and Password you created when you set up your account.
Pleas see the section below if you forgot your username or password.
For security reasons, the District will not disclose account information over the phone.
If you lost your username, please email SapphirePortals@sgasd.org for assistance.
If you lost or forgot your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link on the Community Portal login page and follow the instructions.

Log into your Sapphire Community Web Portal. Don't have an account? Register for an account online.
Click on Change Student Data, located to the left of the page.
Update the necessary information. The page will automatically save changes.
Log into your Sapphire Community Web Portal. Don't have an account? Register for an account online.
Click on Reports, located to the left of the page.
Under Reports, choose Report Cards.
Navigate to www.google.com.
In the upper-right corner, click on the blue Sign In button.
Enter the student's Spring Grove Google email address following this format: username@springgrovesd.org, where the username is the student's full first name, first two letters of the last name, and the last two digits of their graduation year.
Click the blue Next button.
Enter the student's district-issued password. If they are unsure of their password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.
Click the blue Next button.
Google Accounts for graduating seniors will stay active until October 1 of the graduation year. If you wish to have access to any of your files after this date, you will need to transfer these files to a personal Google account by following these steps.
If you already have a parent account for one child, you do NOT need a new account for additional children. Follow the steps below to add an additional student to your account.
Choose the Parent option.
Enter your 12-digit Parent Access Code. If you do not have this, please contact your child's teacher or access in Sapphire (Reports -> File Cabinet -> Technology Materials -> Open the most recent "Student Notification - Schoology-Parent Account" letter).
Click Continue.
Fill out the form with your information.
Click Register to complete.
Navigate to https://app.schoology.com/login. and click the Login button in the top-right corner.
Login with the email address and password you created when you set up your account.
Please view this document for more information on how to navigate your parent account.
Log into your Parent Schoology Account.
Click your name in the top-right corner to access your account settings.
Choose Add Child.
Enter your child's 12-digit access code. If you do not have this, please contact your child's teacher or access in Sapphire.
From a Web Browser:
Navigate to www.sgasd.schoology.com.
In the username, enter the student's username only. The username is the student's full first name, first two letters of the last name, and the last two digits of their graduation year.
In the password field, enter the student's district-issued password. If they are unsure of their password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.
Click the blue Log In button.
From the Schoology App (High School Only):
Click the blue Sign in through my school button.
In the School field, type the name of the student's school. Once the school shows up in the list, click on it. Please make sure to choose the Spring Grove, PA schools.
Click the Go to SSO button.
In the username, enter the student's username only. The username is the student's full first name, first two letters of the last name, and the last two digits of their graduation year.
In the password field, enter the student's district-issued password. If they are unsure of their password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.
Click the blue Log In button.
Click the box beside I am human.
Click the blue Approve button.
Teachers have the ability to turn Seesaw access on or off for Families.
At the beginning of a new school-year, if you previously were connected to a student Seesaw account, you will automatically be reconnected for the new year.
If you have NOT previously been connected to a student Seesaw account, the teacher may send you an email invite or provide a QR Code to join their class.
If you have questions or need an invite, please contact your child's teacher.
Follow these steps to create a New Seesaw Account:
Download the Seesaw App or go to app.seesaw.me on a computer.
Tap "I'm a Family Member"
If you have a Private Invite, scan the QR Code.
If you have a Text/Email Invite, click the Link.
Follow the prompts to create an account or sign in.
Follow these steps to Connect a New Child to an Existing Account
Login on the Seesaw App or go to app.seesaw.me on a computer.
If you have a Private Invite, tap your profile icon (top left), then tap "+Add Child's Journal", then scan the QR code.
If you have a Text/Email invite, tap the link to get connected.
Students SHOULD be logged in automatically to Seesaw on their District iPad.
If they need to log in again:
Click on the Clever App
Scan their Clever QR Code
Click on Seesaw on the dashboard - this will take them to the Seesaw App
Students shoud join a virtual class meeting held over Zoom by clicking on the link provided by their teacher in SeeSaw or Schoology. If you cannot find the link, please contact your child's teacher.
Note: Students are unable to log into the Zoom app on their district-issued iPad and can only join a meeting hosted by a Spring Grove account.
Open the Zoom app.
Click Join a Meeting.
Under Meeting ID, enter 111 111 111.
In the next box, enter your First and Last Name (this box may say iPad or another name, depending on what device you are accessing Zoom from).
Click Join.
You will get a pop-up message saying Invalid Meeting ID. Click the OK button.
Your Zoom name is now changed and will be saved for future Zoom sessions that you join.
Grades K-4:
Open the Clever app.
Scan your QR code.
Grades 5-8:
Open the Clever app.
Click Login with Username and Password.
Click Login with your network account.
Enter your district username@sgasd.org, where their username is their full first name, first two letters of their last name, and the last two digits of their graduation year.
Enter your district-issued password. If they are unsure of their password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.
Grades 9-12:
Navigate to the Clever log in page using this link, or by going to the school district website, clicking the Students & Families tab, then choosing Classroom and clicking on the Clever icon.
Click Login with your network account.
Enter your district username@sgasd.org, where their username is their full first name, first two letters of their last name, and the last two digits of their graduation year.
Enter your district-issued password. If they are unsure of their password, please contact the Technology Help Desk or have them ask their teacher.

Be sure to charge your iPad every night.
Remember to bring your device to school EVERY day.
Use the iPad for school related work/activities only.
Do not let others borrow or use your device.
Keep food, drinks, and water away from your iPad.
Report any damage to your teacher.
Open the Settings on your iPad (look for the gear icon on the home screen).
Click General in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click Software Update in the menu that appears on the right-hand side of the screen.
Your device will check for an available update.
If you get a message saying iPadOS is up to date, there is no further action needed.
If you get a message with a blue Update Now button, click the blue button to install the update. Make sure your iPad is plugged in to power and connected to Wifi before beginning the udpate. Your iPad will download the software, then restart to install the udpate.
Open the Settings app on the iPad (this icon looks like a gear).
Click the Wi-Fi option in the left menu.
Click on the name of the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to.
When prompted, enter the password for the Wi-Fi network.
Click Join.
Most iPad issues can be resolved by completing a hard restart of the iPad following these steps:
Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
Press and hold the top button. Keep holding the button until the Apple logo appears, then release the top button. Do not swipe to power off!
Open the Mosyle School app.
If you are asked to Sign In, click the Self-Service button at the bottom of the screen.
Click My Apps on in the left menu.
Click the (Re)Install/Update button below the app to update or install the app.
Grades K-8:
Take the iPad the the Main Office to report any iPad issues.
Grades 9-12:
Take the iPad to the Student Help Desk located in the IAC to report any iPad issues.
