The HTML we're looking into right now is from the 90's; the original HTML that all of the original web. Let's briefly revisit that, and then build a basic page using techniques from that time period.
Collecting Retro Things
To make something look retro...
we may need to collect some retro assets.
Let's first look a bit about what you might need.
I'll provide you a few retro things, but you may want some of your own choosing too.
here are some of the retro graphics I've collect: Google Share Link
Before working with the HTML, I'll show you a few of the assets I'll be using, or intending to use. Sometimes what you plan to use, and what actually happens ends up different, but that's ok.
Being that we're working with the web, it's very easy to allow a bit of interaction, which can be as simple as letting users click from one page to another. That's what I'll do, 'opening the card' will be going from a page with the front design to a page with an inside design or something that would represent the message inside.
Now, I'll use this same page as a tempalte for the inside.
