Fundamentals of CompSci
Before sketching out your ideas, choosing a design, as well as making your design, be sure to check the rubric. When you think you're done, check the rubric again to see if you need to improve anything to try to earn the score you want. Of course, as always, the content of your card must be school appropriate.
The grading and expectations for this project are provided below.
The rubric shown below uses the IB style marks.
The IB score is converted to a score based on Texas standards.
The converted score is what is entered into Skyward.
1/2 → 60/65
3/4 → 71/77
5/6 → 82/88
7/8 → 93/100
If a valid attempt is made, but it does not meet the requirements show below, it will be awarded a 50.
A 0 is a valid mark for student submitted work that does not represent a valid attempt.
For the middle category, notice it is listed as product documentation. For this part of the project, you'll need to turn in a document that provides evidence that you met those requirements for that part of the grade. This should help you make sure you met these requirements, as well as make sure you get credit for them.
